Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the Petzi Pal platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Platform.

These Terms apply to all users, including pet owners and service providers, who access or use our Platform.

Use of the Platform

Eligibility

To use Petzi Pal, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have the legal authority to enter into binding contracts
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Account Registration

When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide truthful and accurate information
• Maintain and update your account information
• Keep your account credentials secure
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

Pet Owner Responsibilities

As a pet owner, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your pet's health and needs
• Ensure your pet is up-to-date on vaccinations and health requirements
• Be present or accessible during service delivery when required
• Pay all fees associated with booked services
• Treat service providers with respect and courtesy
• Notify service providers of any behavioral concerns or special requirements

Service Provider Responsibilities

As a service provider, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your qualifications and services
• Maintain all required licenses, certifications, and insurance
• Arrive on time for scheduled appointments
• Deliver services professionally and in accordance with industry standards
• Treat pets and pet owners with care and respect
• Report any incidents or concerns promptly
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Service Bookings and Payments

Booking Process

Service bookings are made through our Platform. By booking a service, you enter into a direct contract with the service provider. Petzi Pal acts as an intermediary platform connecting pet owners with service providers.

Payment

All payments are processed through secure payment systems. You agree to pay all fees as displayed at the time of booking. Fees may include:

• Service fees charged by providers
• Platform service fees
• Applicable taxes

Refunds and Cancellations

Refund and cancellation policies are outlined in our separate Return Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Limitation of Liability

Petzi Pal provides a platform for connecting pet owners and service providers. We are not liable for:

• The quality, safety, or legality of services provided by service providers
• The accuracy of information provided by users
• Any injury to pets or people resulting from booked services
• Disputes between pet owners and service providers
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises between you and another user, you agree to:

• First attempt to resolve the issue directly with the other party
• Contact Petzi Pal customer support for assistance
• Participate in good faith in any mediation or resolution process

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Petzi Pal platform, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is the property of Petzi Pal or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Collect or harvest user information
• Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Circumvent any security measures
• Engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause or notice, for any reason including but not limited to violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or disruptive behavior.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
